The kaplan books cover this topic pretty heavily, but it doesnt seem to be covered at all in EK. Do you think we need to know about the anatomy of fetal respiration and circulation namely where gas exchange occurs and the names and locations of the shunts like the foramen ovalis?

I've seen questions regarding the fetal circulatory system presented in BS passages, BS discretes, and even PS passages. It seems like something worth studying, IMO. Probably not in as much detail as Kaplan, but a basic understanding of how it operates can't hurt.
