I will be a first year med student next year. Schools calculate the cost of attendence based on the 9-month academic year...What do most med students do during the summer months? I can't imagine that they would have to sublet their apartments every summer or take summer classes to remain eligible for aid? Help! How do you get around this?

Get a job... and you don't get a summer except for after your first year (most places... even some don't give you that), and FinAid changes accordingly.
