To be eligible for all financial aid packages, the schools I am looking at require parental information. Unfortunately, I currently have no relationship with one of my parents who has since remarried. This parent is unlikely to even disclose tax information to me. Before I go through the process of writing a letter to each school's financial aid office for an exception, does anyone else have any experience with a situation like this?

Thanks.

If your parents are divorced, then you supply parental information from that parent that you lived with more or the parent that provided you the most financial support.
