Hi,

Are you all filling out the FinAid forms for schools that haven't sent out decisions yet (ie Penn, Yale, etc), or do you just plan on waiting until you're accepted to fill them out? If we fill them out now, will we get decisions sooner than if we wait?? I would think that they don't start doing aid packages until atleast a few days after they send out acceptances, but does anyone know?

yeah I'm wondering now too. Should I submit the FAFSA to schools that I have interviewed at, but have not yet heard back from? Thanks!

Definitely include schools that you still hope to get into. Remember, you can include up to six schools.

You can also apply to the school's financial aid office, however you FinAid application will be on hold until you are accepted. At that point, they will load your application on to their database or something. That is what they told me. I was a little worried about being competitive for scholarships and grants at Colorado, b/c they wait until the end of March to notify of acceptance. The gunners that are accepted immediately seem to have a distinct advantage in procuring financial aid funds considering that there funds run out quickly.
