finch vs slu

I have been accepted to both schools. I just wanted your feedback regarding why you would choose one school over the other in terms of reputation, location, overall education, research opportunities, clinical preparedness, etc., or just any thoughts about them. Thanks.

I would say got to SLU, the rep is alot better. I have two friends at finch, and they always say if they had gotten in anywhere else (MD) they would've gone there instead.

I agree with the deuce. SLU has a better rep and better clinical training I think. Plus, they have their own teaching hospital which is nearby. I had a regional interview at SLU and turned down my interview at Finch. Finch seems to have the reputation as everyone's backup school. Finch does have good board scores though so they obviously teach you well.....

I agree- I withdrew my acceptance from Finch almost as soon as I got it, since I had been accepted to SLU, which I considered a better program.
