i agree. i can think of way more negatives than positives with finch. the only positive i can think of is what i posted above, the fact that it's a med school and will make you a doctor.
it's extremely expensive, it's in a depressed little suburb nearly an hour outside downtown chicago, it has a pretty bad stigma (although some graduates do match quite well), and they have no hospitals of their own, so they mooch off hospitals that are part of other university systems. they don't own cook county--rush students are the priority students for rotations there (they are the first to get to rotate at the new cook county, as it's at the tail-end of a multimillion dollar renovation) although UIC students can rotate there too.
BUT, it's still a med school.
