I was told a student that is due to graduate in May next year had gone in to speak with an advisor at his university. When the advisor looked up the students info on the computer to confirm his class list, it also had him listed as "accepted to med-school 2004"? Has this happened to anyone here? It doesn't sound very logical that the computer would already have him listed as a med-student since Feb 1st is the "match" day?

Feb 1st= match day? Where did you hear that from? That's just wrong info

Different school has different acceptance schedule, and I guess some schools do send acceptance info the premed advisors at the applicants' undergraduate schools.

Sometimes you can find out acceptances over the phone too.
 
He was refering to the Texas system.
