i think it was me that made the comment about taking fish oil and gingko biloba everyday to a student who had a hard time concentrating on his schoolwork. I remember reading somewhere that fish oil makes you smarter because it's good for the heart which pumps blood to your brain. I believe it works because I've become smarter. More focused and awake. Maybe, it's just my mind.   You have to do it everyday because it takes time for the brain to heal and build more interneuron connections. It is all based on my research though, nothing scientific.  👍

i accidentally bought the fish oil omega 3 today after seeing it because i remember seeing the post here lol. there was another pill at the pharmacy called brain speed. but it was too expensive. 41 dollars for 60 pills. helps retain memory and speed thinking faster. I know fish oil omega 3 is common in pregnant women who wants healthy child or for children.

I'm taking Bontril (phendimetrazine) for appetite suppression. I've found that it really helps me focus. I pay $30 for 180 tabs at Sam's Club. It's a C-III amphetamine, so you'll need a doctor prescription.

I guess people took the ginko and fish oil comment seriously. The poster was just being sarcastic. There aren't sufficient studies to back up the claim of fish oil(or any other supplements for that matter) being a 'brain-booster' but eating a well-balanced diet with omega fatty acids won't hurt you. Just eat some tuna or salmon a few times a week and snack on almonds/walnuts, etc. Fish oil isn't going to magically boost your test grades from a 70 to a 90.

essential fatty acids are healthy, but are you kidding me man?!?! How do you reason a fatty acid is going to help you concentrate? If you really need concentration help and think you are ADD go to a doctor and get prescribed to adderall or ridilin (sp?)
