    Good evening,

On #6, I was between the answer choices A&C. Can you explain why it is C? I am still not understanding from the given explanations.

    Thank you,

    T.

Hi @Dr. To Be ! Great Question. With this question we want to know which scenario would require the greatest energy to keep the runner upright. That is, which posture/running style would require the greatest compensation to stay upright or, which of the following is the greatest perturbation from upright, balanced and stable.

High bounding strides will introduce more E into the system so that leaves A and C. A has the runner nearly vertical, which would not require as much torque/muscle compensation to stay upright. C the runner is leaning off center, which will require additional work from muscles to stay upright.

    Hope this helps, Good luck!
