Hey guys!
I know we've got lots of PAs outhere. Could some of you please tell me if PAs could work flex schedules i'e 12 hrs shifts about 3 days per week. As an RN there sure are deas like these. But I want to do medicine. And, in general, what do you think the future of the profession is, and the job market?
Thanks all

Billydoc,
From my knowledge PA Schedules are flexible. I know a PA who worked 2 days out of the week from 4pm to 7am and I think 1 or 2 regular days.

Shift work/Part time jobs are out there, but not that plentiful. Generally speaking, when a doc hires a PA, it's to "Work 'em" (Not worry about how many days off they get, or sprinkle their hours 'here and there'). I've noticed an increasing demand for what you are asking about on the boards. This may bode even less well, as there seems to be more competition for part time PA gigs.
