Does anybody know about any programs in florida? Any current or past residents?

I am a fourth year dental student at Nova and want to spend a year in a gpr or aegd.

Mike,
I am a resident at the UF-Jacksonville AEGD. UF has some awesome AEGD residencies in Florida. I researched a lot before applying and found St. Petersburg and Jacksonville to be some of the best in the country. In my 2.5 months at Jacksonville I have had a lot of advanced training including implant placement and restoration, Perio surgeries, Impacted wisdom tooth surgeries, Advanced prostho, and a much better understanding of comprehensive treatment of patients. So far Jacksonville has been awesome. Learning a lot.
Hope this helps.

hi
There are excellent programs in Florida... besides a warm area and beaches.
Because some residenies may be hard to get into I would expand my search.
Check the listings The ADA has... online... your deans office may have a hard copy.

Since its a year you will be paid for learning and gives you a chance for moree time to pass boards... I would look at other areas you may want to spend a year.
