Flying into Cincy

Can anyone tell me what's the cheapest way to get into Cincy from California. Man, I am looking on all the websites for cheap fares and a ticket is gonna cost me freaking 1200!!!. <img border="0" alt="[Wowie]" title="" src="graemlins/wowie.gif" /> I have to leave after work on a Monday and come back Tues night after my interview, why the heck would it cost so much. Anyone have any cheaper ways of going about this.

I've lived in Cincinnati for the past 7 years. Flights to and from here are very expensive because Delta enjoys a virtual monopoly. You might try flying into Dayton, Indianapolis, Lexington, or Louisville, and taking a rental car to Cincinnati. These cities are all 1-2 hours from here, and you could save a bundle on airfare. You could also try web sites like Priceline.com and CheapTickets.com. Good luck!

However, I did try those websites and the flights were still 1200. After digging around some more, what blew me away was that if i fly in on a Sat. it only costs 285. Man i really didn't want to skip out on two days of work, but it looks like thats the only thing I can do. Sheesh what the heck am I gonna do for 4 days in Cincy?

i flew into columbus and drove (close to 2 hrs). got my tickets from orbitz.com for about $260 roundtrip. good luck

Flying into Dayton will save you a ton of money. I just flew from Dayton to San Fran for $220 round trip! And it's only about an hour drive to Cincy. Good Luck!
