For a DIY postbacc, can you take courses online from an accredited four year university?

I'm trying to take a few classes to bump my GPA a little bit. The courses are from a local major university but the thing is the courses are "distance learning" which means not in person due to the pandemic. The courses are not prereqs for medical school, they are upper division science courses. Would it be okay to take these online from a local major university?

Yes, many universities are online for safety reasons because of the pandemic, so this should be fine.
