hi,
this thread is actually for all people who got in with lower gpas (3.0-3.2). i know its very rare, but im very sure it happens!! so can people that got in with those gpas lemme know how they did it and where they got accepted??!! and KUDOS to all that did! 😎

I got in (allopathic and osteopathic) with a 3.1 overall and a 3.2 science gpa. I'm not a URM either (white male). Basically i made sure that i did above average on the MCAT (32) and spent two years after graduation doing research. I was able to accrue stellar letters of rec, and i've been told I interview well. While GPA is certainly important, there are numerous other categories like the ones mentioned above that can offset a slightly low gpa. Just make sure those other categories are excellent. It won't be easy....but i'm proud to say that I did it. I didn't get into harvard, but i'm still going to be a doctor. Good luck to everyone that finds themselves posting on this thread!

GUD luck you all!!!!....keep the hard work up!!......God willing...we will all succed! 🙂
