I've been having fun all afternoon filling out this torturous AMCAS course section. Now I am stuck!

What is an Anthropology:Intro to Archeology class considered? Behavioral & Social Science? Natural & Physical Science?

thanks!

I would think history or maybe social science. Natural or physical science?--no way.

Hi there u2ecila,

Since it's an intro course, which I'm assuming covered a broad range of topics, I'd go with Behavioral & Social Science. According to my premed advisor when I was filling out the monster, the course content should be your guide, e.g., if you take a psychology class that's heavy in neurobiology, that goes into your science GPA, even though psych is sometimes considered a social science.

Best of luck w/ AMCAS!

BESS, the key isn't the archaeology part, it's the anthropology department.
