How many of you believe the "military commitment" checkbox on ERAS keeps some HPSP students from being offered civilian interviews?

I applied to both civilian and military programs for match as suggested in the miniscule chance the military would need to defer me out and had no problems. Since it was a low probability I only applied to peds residencies in Pennsylvania and still got 4 or 5 interviews, so no conflict there
