For those accepted to Downstate...

Hey everyone-

Have any of you received the forms we were supposed to get in the mail- financial aid etc...? It said in my letter that these were supposed to be arriving, but I never got anything.

Allison, we always seem to be meeting on these downstate threads heh. Anyways I've only gotten that deposit form a few weeks back and then the confirmation that my spot is being held. As far as financial aid and other stuff haven't gotten anything yet. My best estimate is maybe March or so when they have a good # of accepted students they'll send out the financial stuff in one big batch. Are you set on Downstate?

Thanks zero2hero- for some reason I thought we were supposed to be getting more info sooner.

I am pretty set on Downstate - but there is one school that i am going to wait to hear from, and then I will make my final decision. Then I know we are supposed to enroll in that CPR class, and I would like to get that over with.

Not really 'deciding' per se, I just interviewed recently at AECOM and still trying to get off the waitlist at Stony. If I dont get accepted to either then I will certainly see you at Downstate this fall.

Yeah- I'm pretty sure we are not supposed to get more information till the Spring...do you guy know any details about the CPR course? Is it like weeks or just a one day deal? I don't know for sure if I'm attending but I dont wan't to wait till the last minute if I need to allot a few weeks for it.

not positive, but i think he course is a one day deal. and it is offered all the time and at various locations across NY, so it should be pretty easy to schedule. i wonder why downstate requires this...
