For those on pre-interview hold

Since most schools have stopped interviewing (or will soon), this means that applicants on pre-interview hold are no longer considered at those schools.

So, why don't they just tell you?

Frustrated b/c I feel like I've been strung along.

I just got an email today saying i'm on "interim" status at howard. I'm assuming this means a pre-interview hold, but seriously we're almost halfway through april now.

I haven't even heard from some schools, which is really frustrating. I can only assume that as soon as this month passed that I would need to reset myself, and go through this application cycle again. 🙁
