for those who got around 70% kaplan first pass before step 1, how did you end up doing?

My Kaplan average was in the 70s. Took the exam yesterday. It was bloody traumatic. We'll see in a couple weeks, I guess.

thanks for the reply. honestly thats how people even ranging in the >240 range feel as well. how were you doing in UWSA, nbmes and uworld?

What do you meen by saying before step exam? Do you meen doing kaplan after doing uworld?

I have done uworld subjectvise for 6 month, then random timed with wrongs, so I have done twice uworld, and only after this I am doing kaplan now, averaving 80%. I liked this bank very much because I encountered frequently questions when I wen't like wtf? More frequently than in uworld, and as long people say that real deal is very much vague, I think doing kaplan is good only after doing uworld, so uworld for concepts and kaplan just "for fun" and sake of wierd non traditional questions.

First pass score means nothing in and of itself. It depends how you used the resource. It is only predictive if you used it to test your knowledge after previously learning the material really well. If you used it primarily as a learning tool after only doing a single pass through the material, the score is immaterial. I know people that got 50% on their first pass through Q banks but then got 260s on the real deal.
