hey

i think the admissions process for penn dental is really really random. i've seen people with stellar scores not get admissin so i am pretty concerned.

i know it's not all about gpa and dat scores, but for those that got into penn, could you guys tell us your stats?

thanks everyone for your input...im sure those that are still waiting on that school will appreciate it.

my GPA and DAT scores are in my signature. i am graduating with a b.s. in life science within 3 years. i have minimal (15 hrs) shadowing experience, some hospital volunteer work, not many extra curric. stuff, but i have worked part-time through college. i believe that the secondary asked for high school stats, which might have helped me because i had a 4.0. i definitely agree that the process is really random.

I agree. The process is incredibly random. I got in with a 3.6 overall and a 3.4 science. With 21/21/18 on the DATs. It might help that I'm a PA resident and that I've done 2 years of research with a paper published and 100 hours of shadowing.

But I saw people with way better stats then me getting rejected...no idea why...

where did they ask you for high school stats???
I only remember that there was a place to put your SAT scores but not high school GPAs.
Did I miss it??????
