? for those who recently have taken: square root function on calculator

Was the Square Root function available? The image of the windows calculator definitely shows the square root function, but Chad stresses (in the QR video #17 Roots) that it might not be provided.

What has been the experience of those who have recently taken it?

Took my test in June and the calculator did have a square root function.

yeah there is... but no SQUARE function..

the calculator looked pretty much identical to the basic calculator application on windows, just slightly bigger. a lot of people complain about their calculator being very laggy but I didn't have a problem with mine at all.

Yeah mine had one, unfortunately for me I had a question that required me to cube root it and I had a minor meltdown. My calculator worked just fine for me, no lagging or anything.

Yah they have it. And the calculator was supper fast for me.
