for west virginia, do we qualify for in-state tuition rate after first year?

Are you going to wvu? ill be attending there and as an out of state student i researched this and i dont think we will get in state after our first year.

i talked to wvu and pretty much got the run around..but in short no they don't have to give you in-state tuition, even if your married to a west virginian who works full time in the state. they want you to have to prove that you moved to wv not to go to school but because you wanted to move there to stay forever. she said im always welcome to apply for residency but its hard to get once your enrolled out of state. if you guys know anymore just let me know but thats what they said to me.

I know buffalo does that. what about west virginia?

Actually, under the right circumstances, out of staters can get in state NY tuition at Buffalo even during their first year.
