Hello,
A colleague of mine is a non US citizen Lebanese pharmacist from an accredited institution. He has been accepted into a US pharmacy residency and from prior experience, colleagues in this exact spot have been able to travel to the US on the sponsored visa > apply for and pass the NAPLEX and 2nd MPJE exams > Get licensed and ready for residency.
It has come to our attention that not all institutions recognize this path as a viable one. His accepting institution is requiring that he Travel to the US (visitor visa), take the exams, travel back, then begin the visa sponsorship paperwork.
Can anyone please fill us in on details and information regarding the predicament above.
Thank you in advance.
