advantages and disadvantages of foreign schools?

I heard that unless ur comin from a caribbean school, goin to other foreign schools really doesnt work agianst u that much (in the long run when u are competing for residencies and such)...cuz u can always be like, hey i wanted to take advantage of studying foreign atleast in med school, since i wasnt able to in college. thats why i opted for a freign school....but no one is gonna be like, "hey i really wanted to study medicine in the caribbean"
