Form AG radioactive decay free standing!!!

whats up guys. i remember being rushed in PS and had to guess blindly on one question towards the end. it was some sort of radioactive decay problem where they gave you two numbers (8000 and something else?! if i remember correctly..i dunno..complete blur)..

you had to either find the rate of decay..or some other stupid number..ie. three things and you were given 2 and they made you find the missing thing.

does anyone remember this problem and what the answer was and why?...i always pick B and so i think my choice was 1.3

the other choice i remember is 1. ( which might have been A).

for some reason , this question is bugging the $hit out of me.

I think I chose 1. There were 3 half lifes of 2 or something, I forgot the scenerio. I'm pretty sure its one.

though i was so nervous that i checked it 3 times - lol



My question had to do with what happened if there was Plutoium with beta decay, what that would do to the insulated balls?

I got it down to A or D. All I knew is that beta decay is some sort of charged particle in motion and that it would create a magnetic field. I don't remember the answer choices though...

i put D for the charged and all i remember is the answer choice said something about ionization
