Man, I thought the PS section was pretty hard and BS wasn't easy either.. VS was okay.. so basically, yea you can see I did pretty Sh*tty. The WS was easy! 😀 but overall 👎

i took my test in Austin too, and the same test format!
I thought the p.s. was difficult, but not as bad as the bio. The verbal was ok...

Also had AH, thought the PS was hard, VR managable, but the BS with the phylogenic tree and that huge chart with the chromosome-8 or whatever... Out of nowhere...

post any specific questions

PS was hard...VR was ok..Bio was a disaster...so much for wrecking all the AAMC tests..all it means is retake in april 05..

valuable lessons:
1) you take way more time when your life depends on score
2) tpr and aamc diags are a joke

3 months wasted......ahhhh 🙁

I'll be happy if I score 4 points lower than I was averaging on the AAMC tests. It really felt like a whole different ballgame when you get right in there. And so much more exhausting. But I'm relieved to be done.

I AGREE! 3 months wasted!!! 😡

for sure..i screwed myself over by checking answers after every aamc section. shoulda gotten used to anxiety issues..avg a 34-35 for aamc..be lucky to get a 30-31 i think..

i'm right there with you guys. except after PS i was so mad that I did bad on the verbal as well. What the hell happened to the "there is one easy, medium and hard?????????????????

AH was like mediocre, hard and harder. damn all that studying for nothing. I would have rather taken any other practice test. I can't celebrate after that test. 😡

There was a question on the PS dealing with a competitive inhibitor of HIV or something to that effect. The question basically asked what type of interaction was going on. I remember "covalent bonding..." as part of one answer. Anybody remember this Q and your answer? Thanks!

Also, was there a Shakespeare passage on AH? Can anyone describe it? I can't recall this one for the life of me, but others with form Ax have it.

I think I put the covalent bonding answer as well.. it was something about how this compound can be used to inhibit HIV b/c it can fit into the virus where the enzyme is.. something like that.

yeah for real nnguyen72, where the hell did that question come from on BS? i totally guessed.. i didnt have time to add up that GMW and i figured there is some sort of shortcut to get the answer but i still havent figured it out yet. also, i think the answer was covalent bonding to that other question. the other AC's didnt make sense (hydrogen bonding, ionic bonding, something else) because it was an all carbon compound.

Competitive is reversible involving a temporary change while covalent bonds are permanent changes.
