scplnhnd: How many papers you published and that your MCAT score is 45+ does not make you the smartest person on the forum. You may be a rocket scientist and a winner of a Nobel prize but it does not make you superior than other people. You seem to be a very young, an ignorant and arrogant person. I would strongly advice to change your attitude as it comes to your interviews if you are applying to med school at all.
 
The NIH only cares about his abilities as a researcher but ignores his lack of moral integrity and compassion, which is a shame.

Its a way of pissing people off and starting arguments...trolling for an argument. From there, I think it just became common to call these people trolls.•••••I always thought it was like trolls under a bridge.

Trolls only come out every now and then and when they do come out their only concern is to cause trouble.

Both ways work though :)

for being a jerk, being booted is too harsh. but i say we make him/her sit in the corner and think about what he/she/it did. like a brief suspension :)
 
Actually, according to the TOS, if you single someone out, you can be booted. :D
 
hardly on the same level and marginally related, but there was an interesting story about a e-community that had vehement arguments about the ability to "terminate" someones: <a href="http://www.humanities.uci.edu/mposter/syllabi/readings/rape.html" target="_blank">a rape in cyberspace</a>
hah, nothing like the extreme to put it in perspective.
