i had a question regarding family practice & pain medicine. i am an ms-3 interested in anesthesia into pain medicine and while reading these forums i read that, as of 2007, fp docs can do a fellowship in pain as well. does anyone have a link that i can use to find out more about this? thanks in advance.

so yes as of 2007 any ACGME approved base residency can apply. The question is will programs be receptive to this? who knows? I am wondering the same thing.
