Hello all,
I am a board-certified forensic pathologist and assistant professor at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. As an adjunct to our lectures, my colleague (Dr. Walter Kemp) and I have been writing USMLE-style pathology review questions. Our students have enjoyed using the questions, and we have decided to make them available to as many students as would like to have access to them.
The questions can be located - free of any charge - divided between two blog posts:
www.pathologyreviewforstep1.com
www.pathologyreviewforUSMLE.com
Over the last month or so, we have begun publishing the same questions in book format on Amazon. The first book covers General Pathology, and the second book covers Systemic Pathology (heart, lung, and heme). These are the exact same questions that are on the blog, but we realized some students would rather study from a book-format than reading a blog-post. Every few months, we can drop the price to free for a week so you don't have to pay anything for the Amazon download. In between those free windows, we set the price as low as we could (99-cents). We aren't interested in charging you money for these questions. We honestly just enjoy teaching and would like to share the materials we've produced because we feel they can be useful to you while you study.

We have a third book coming out shortly, which will be all image questions. And then more system-based questions after that (GI, liver, kidney, male GU and female GYN...)
Again, when we can we will drop the Amazon download cost down to free, which lasts a week at a time. Or, the questions can always be located free of charge on the blogs. It is our sincere hope that these questions will be of benefit to you in your study and comprehension of pathology. Our thoughts are with you during these difficult times, and we hope everyone is adjusting to their various remote learning formats.
Respectfully yours,
Dr. Rhome Hughes
