French and German vs. English medical textbooks

Just out of my curiosity, how would medical students and practitioners on this forum compare among medical textbooks in English, German and French? I read from elsewhere that Germany does not usually use the titles we are familiar with, such as Moore, Netter, Linda, etc. Any idea on their quality of preclinical and clinical books?
