This is a different forum than other chat locals and interest spots, because we're all so damn passionate. I've met a few people who I think are pretty interesting, wouldn't mind working on some research projects in the future. Anonimity and flame wars aside, what is the potential for SDN'ers to form longlasting professional friendships?

i think there's a lot of potential, as long as people are willing to compromise their anonymity (which, if SDNers have known each other for many hundreds of posts and PMs, is probably not a big deal). :)
 
I've "done it" with most everybody who posts in International Dental.
