I am currently enrolled in a graduate program in audiology, at the end of my first year. I am seriously considering becoming an ENT instead. Would it be of any benefit to me to complete my audiology degree? Is there anyone out there who has made the same transition?

Hey - just thought I'd let you know you aren't alone. I got an MS in Audiology. I really enjoyed the field but wanted to be able to do more. When I applied to med school, I think having the MS helped and it showed I had allied health experience. I also thought about going ENT, but have since decided to go into internal med. However, when I did my ENT rotation, all the ENTs thought my background was wonderful and that it would help if I decided to go into ENT.

Hope this helps! I would finish the degree if I were you (try to make some contacts along the way)
