I have been accepted to dental school.
No one needs to play the dramatic music, however, I must confess that I feel like a significant weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
I have consulted this forum for over 4 years and have applied twice before.
I did a la carte post bacc work, then went on to graduate school in an effort to repair my decidedly dreadful GPA. A significant investment of time and money was invested.
Time to get on the straight talk express; I dug my own hole as an undergrad so do not weep for me.
So, I guess some words of caution should precede my words of encouragement. Keep it together as an undergrad the best you can. It will save you years (in my case) of worry and a substantial chunk of change.
That said, if you F around as an undergrad you can atone for your academic sins with two scoops of dedication and a cup of outstanding grades.
Regards,
Hopkins
