I know, as if the rest of us haven't had our fill of frustrations with AMCAS, but I just needed to vent a little bit. This morning I got the fourth email from AMCAS saying my app's been verified, but that still doesn't help the fact that the web application won't let me change my address and submit the change! My mail is still being sent to an address I no longer live at! The "specialist" said there was nothing HE could do about it either! Like I needed to call long distance from CA to hear him say that! :(

No, I agree with you that you don't need to call long distance to get that sort of information from a "specialist". In fact, I think a magic 8-ball would be just as informative. ;)

Good luck. Even AMCAS would be hard-pressed to get any more incompetent, I'm sure things will start going your way pretty soon.

One more thing: have you tried going to the post office and getting your mail forwarded from your old address to your current address? That might do the trick until (if) AMCAS gets its act together.

Thanks, but I know from experience that the post office takes a really long time to forward things. I think it would make things worse for me if I utilized the mail forwarding! Thanks for your encouragement, it really means a lot! :p
