i was interviewed over a month ago and was put on the waiting list. Actually, they didn't techincally call it the waiting list but they said a decision has not yet been made regarding my acceptance or non-acceptance. I was wondering if anyone could comment on the new FSU medical school admission process, such as how long you had to wait, how you were notified, or if you have any opinion on the tendency to waitlist at FSU and/or the tendency to get accepted off of the waitlist at FSU.

Do you know if their class is filled yet? I haven't been invited for an interview, and I'm guessing its not gonna happen since its getting so late in this process. 🙁 I was hoping atleast to get into their post-bacc program.

I seem to remember someone saying they had about 24/50 spots filled. That was in early January, though. I don't know much about this FSU thing.

I just interviewed there last friday. They tell me the results of my interview on wednesday so we'll see. I believe they told me they had filled about 30 of their 50 spots. I think they have another month worth of interviews so I wouldn't get too concerned as of yet.

Was anyone else impressed with what their program was going to become? I wasn't expecting much but I was actually fairly impressed by what they were doing and the type of students they were letting in. It seems like they were looking for something a little different in their applicants than other places I have interviewed. I can't put my finger on what it was exactly but let's hope I had it.
