Wasn't there a thread just like this...except the OP had a full ride to UCSD but was wondering about going to Michigan?
Sorry to be critical...but c'mon....do you really need us to answer this for you? You didn't give us any info about yourself that would allow SDN people to help you with you decision. If there were personal things...such as (I would like to live in Cali...I hate the cold...my family is in Michigan..) we could help you out. But only giving us "UMich for free...or UCSD for state tuition" isn't going to fly...
Based on what you've typed...I don't see why you wouldn't go to UMich for free. Not just for ranking...but fully funded?!? When you graduate...you'll appreciate the lack of indebtedness....trust me.
