I have a question for all of you who are pre-dents or indental school. First off, Im not trying to put the profession down in any way,so dont get all defensive. Its just a question. With all the recent ways ofpreventing cavities .with things like Varnish and sealants and with more andmore people taking better care of their teeth, and with the news of more dentalschools opening .do you guys think that the future of the career might be injeopardy. (Again, dont get defensive because Im in dental school myself andam not putting the profession down just asking a question). I know thepreventive care is important but dont we also have to protect the profession? Weare going to graduate with a 300k loan, will this career remain as stable as itwas in the past? What do you guys think is the future of dentistry?
