or atleast i think thats what they are..
basically they're questions that show an image of bands at a particular location of a particular person. Usually their will be like 3 or 4 people (family related) with different band distribution. There is also a standard of a particular disease that has a specific band distribution. You're asked to identify which family member most likely has the disease or carrier of a disease.
if you've seen one of these questions you'll know what i mean..
there was one on nbme asking for which member was a carrier.
i suspect in order to identify someone with the disease they have to have a same band distribution as the standard disease one, right ?
& how do i identify carriers?
