Gen Sur Physic restrictions

Is there Physic restrictions on doing Residency in General Sur.
Why I am asking this question is. I am 5.1? height weighing up to 120 lbs, Does it create any impact down the Road ?..

Any Experts ??.Help Me to take Decision

No...you can't be discriminated against solely over your height and weight. Although, from what I've seen during my limited time in the OR, the shorter residents have to stand up on a stepping stool during the surgeries. This might get a bit annoying for you after a while.
 
I actually think you are better off being shorter. If you are short you can always get stepping stools. If you are tall, you just have to lean over and deal with the back/neck pain. Unless you want to kneel!
 
oh what every Surgeon/Surgical Resident wouldn't GIVE in order to be able to sit down on a chair with wheels...would make things MUUUUCH better!! btw..dumbest premed...I sent you a PM...check your box... 😎
