Hello all,

I just moved to Texas, and I am taking the year off to claim residency here in Texas. I was advised to take a biochemistry course before applying, and was wondering how this would affect my residency status. From what I've read you must be working full time for a year before the next application deadline (October 1st).

I'm currently working full time as a scribe (THR Ft Worth North). Will taking a 3/4 credit biochemistry affect my residency claim, and if not how many classes can I actually take without breaking this threshold??

Thanks!
