In all secondary prompts, is there an implicit "how will your takeaways from your experiences contribute to your practice and study of medicine"? In other words, are adcoms looking for a explicit connection to the answer you've provided in the secondary and how it will advance medicine?

Like for example, if the prompt asks "how did you deal with unethical behavior", should your answer focus on your response and what you learned? Or should some characters also be focused on relating back to medicine?

Not necessarily. You may get some points in the eyes of the reader if it is relevant or particularly moving. However, don't force it. In some ways it is advantageous to show off your life outside of medicine and your personality (Within reason, of course) Adcoms read hundreds of these, and they remember the unique or interesting part of every applicants resume.

Not everything has to be related to Medicine.

Just answer the prompts and do so from the heart.
