Would it be okay to write about genetic research as being one of the most significant issues in the medical profession? It is my opinon, but I hope the ad coms don't take it against me as technology boosts the medical world. But I strongly disagree with cloning and think that this issue will be the most imporant in the future years.

I think it's perfectly acceptable to take that stance. in fact, i've heard around the board that cloning will be one of the big issues discussed at interviews this year. as long as you show you have really thought about your reasons against cloning, I'd say it's an excellent topic to write about.

:)

hahaha i also used my genetic research as a significant experience in medicine.

talked about how working at a med school makes you love the environment & people...the research itself wasn't that important
