I have a choice of taking either Human Genetics or Cell Bio next semester before I plan on taking the DAT in January. The ADA website says there are 13 cell bio type questions and 7 genetics type questions. From those of you who have taken the DAT, which would be more beneficial for me? I mean, which information will I be ok with just the simple background I got in general bio and which should I go more in depth with? Hope that makes sense. Basically, is the genetics or cell bio section of the test harder?

I would recommend the cell bio class personally. Most of the genetics questions will probably be fairly rudimentary, something that you could learn from the a Kaplan book. I would take the cell bio class.

Cell bio...genetics on the DAT is simple classical genetics nothing you couldn't pick up by yourself.
