I want to do both inpatient and outpatient IM following residency which may initially be with hospitalist work for a few years before setting up a practice. I've interviewed at a couple of other places with primary care tracks that were only slight variations, but the PC track at GWU seems much less similar to the categorical track due to the Ambulatory Year.

Other PC tracks have a decent number of people going the hospitalist route while it seems rare for those from GWU. Is this coincidental or is there something about the way the track is designed that would make an applicant for a hospitalist position less prepared or capable?
