Hey i called Georgetown today and they told me I was sent a letter in the mail. Does letter=rejection? thanks

Letters do not usually mean a good thing. For me, a letter from Georgetown meant rejection. I would assume that if med schools wanted to give you an interview, they would let you know as soon as possible, most likely by e-mail, so you can plan ahead and schedule the interview as soon as possible.
 
pre-interview that means rejection. Post-interview it could mean anything.

OUCH thanks thats what i figured.
 
I got my acceptance via letter in the mail....so letter could be very good!
