Hi !
I'm looking for somebody who could answer me a question about
transferring
from german medical school to a school in the U.S. I'm an US citizen and
study medicine at ______ University, Germany right now. I intend to
transfer to the states as soon as I'm done with the Physicum (which is
basically the first mayor test after 2 years in medical school in Germany -
I don't know what the equivalent in the US is). My question is what I need
to do to transfer ? Are there any tests I need to take ? How do I apply for
US universities ?
I appreciate any help you could offer
Sincerely
(German Graduate)

From Dr. Henderson: the equivalent to the Physicum is apparently the USMLE examination series. Anyone desiring to become a physician in the united states must take all 3. Great information for you is found at the following website:
AAMC information about Foreign Schools/Non-U.S. Citizens: (Very good information... scroll down to the bottom of their page) http://www.aamc.org/stuapps/appinfo/non-us.htm
