I doubt they would allow clerkships in Germany. Navy doesn't let students go outside of the continental US.

USUHS has a small list of 4th year clinical clerkships at LAMC but there is no info about the other medical centers in germany. I am looking for any info about the hopsitals and training in Landstuhl or heidelberg.

LRMC is the only hospital with inpatient capabilities in Germany. The rest of the facilities are super clinics. There is no training per se at LRMC, WRAMC has a number of programs that send both medicine residents and surgical residents there to staff the trauma OR's and trauma ICU in order to supplement there trauma training. However, by and large LRMC is staffed by physicians in the reserve. There is a permanent staff at LRMC that runs the hospitals and all the departments, but a significant number of docs in the reserve rotate at LRMC in their specialty for a couple of months to fulfill their reserve requirement.

No extended amount of training takes place anywhere in Germany, and even here at WRAMC, the rotations for medical and surgical residents at LRMC are not that popular because you only go for a month, you work like a dog, you aren't allowed to tack leave on to the end of your stay to tool around germany, and even though it is a unit month, it counts as an elective.
