Glaucoma and retina fellowships both have their merits. I think the newer minimally invasive glaucoma procedures (canaloplasty, iStent, trabectome, Hydrus) are impressive, but retina has a bright future also. Does anyone know someone who has fellowship training in both? Would that provide any advantage in the job market?

There really isn't a good reason to do both. If you do retina, you will want to be busy with retina pathology and have someone you can send your glaucoma to that takes care of it.

In practice, you will more than likely end up doing one or the other, not both.
