I have a question regarding Glutathione peroxidases and its location within a cell.

I have two different resources, one which says Glutathione peroxidase is found in the cytoplasm and plasma, while the other says it is found in the mitochondria.

I would assume it would be found in all three places, as superoxide dismutase is present in all three places producing H2O2, which would require Glutathione peroxidase since catalase is found only in peroxisomes, however the books had NO overlap of location.

Thanks

Cytoplasm includes the mitochondria. There are isozymes found in the plasma.
