How important do you think it is for a midwest kid to go to a west coast school if he/she wants to practice on the west coast? Similarly can this kid go to an east coast school and expect to practice on the west coast? Thanks.

I'm from the midwest and I think I'd enjoy practicing and living on the west coast, but to get into one of those cali schools is a whole other issue.

A few months ago I would have STRONGLY recommended that you go to school where you want to practice especially for CA and FL.

Now my view is begining to change. I am hearing people that take the FL board prep course are doing very well. So far I've heard this from three people that do not know each other. I'm not sure if they these prep courses in CA or other areas.

We will see...I guess. Things always change and I know they will by the time I graduate.
